Karim Sherif is a lifelong angler with more than three decades of experience fishing across Egypt, the Middle East, and Europe. Driven by a passion for the sport and a commitment to passing knowledge on to future generations, he founded Bluefin, a community dedicated to angling education, conservation, and responsible fishing practices. Through both Bluefin and his work as an IGFA representative, Karim continues to promote a deeper connection to the outdoors and the waters that make these experiences possible.

Martin Rodriguez is a Peruvian chef and founder of Sala Nikkei, with more than two decades of experience shaping culinary experiences across Peru, Chile, and Egypt. Formerly Executive Chef of Izakaya Cairo, he played a key role in establishing the restaurant as one of the region’s most celebrated dining destinations. Deeply influenced by Nikkei cuisine, his approach brings together different cultures, traditions, and ingredients through food. Whether in the kitchen or around the table, Martin believes that great meals are about more than what is served — they are about creating memorable moments and bringing people together.
